Tatiana Lima not only has a memorable name, this 15 year old singer, songwriter and musician will pull you in and capture your attention with her sultry voice and heart-felt lyrics. Her musical talents range from rock and pop to classical and jazz. Tatiana was born on August 31, 1995 to parents Luiz and Christina Lima. Her father, Luiz, is a native of Brazil who immigrated to the United States in his early 20s. Her mother, Christina, is a first generation American of Ukrainian descent. Tatiana’s parents have a love for their respective heritages and more importantly, they have pride and love for America. They encourage hard work and decency toward others. Through them, Tatiana has been exposed to many customs, lifestyles, cultures, diversity and music.
For the past 6 years, Tatiana has been perfecting her gifts at the prestigious New York Conservatory of Music in New York City. She has been awarded the coveted N.Y. Conservatory of Music’s Scholarship award since 2005. In the fall of 2008, Tatiana was requested to perform for dignitaries and members of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York City. She performed two arias – Xerxes by Handel, Caro Mio Ben by Giuseppe Giordano and Fernando Sor’s classical guitar piece, Etude, in B minor. Tatiana’s ability to seamlessly switch from classical arias into her smooth rock-in-roll vocals impressed Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s renowned bassist, Erben Perez, and guitarist, Mario Sebastian. Tatiana recently worked with Erben Perez and Jerry Ramos (sound engineer for Beyonce) on the release of her songs and music. She is in the process of recording another album of her original songs with Songwriter/Producer Drew Yowell.
